Quick Slow Cooker Beef Curry | Slow Cooker Curry

Serves 4-5
Cook on low for 12 hours

This is an easy slow cooker curry recipe, made with inexpensive pantry items, that will quickly become and family favourite. When served with rice or mashed potato and other vegetables, you can easily stretch this recipe to feed more people, or to have enough left over for another meal. This is one of those recipes that tastes even better the next day!

 Slow Cooker Curry

800g - 1kg beef, cubed and trimmed
2 large onions chopped finely
2 dessertspoons Bisto (or flour + 1 tsp beef stock powder)
1 dessertspoon mild curry powder
1 tsp mixed or Italian herbs
½ Cup saltanas (if you don't like them, leave out)
½ Cup water
2 dessertspoons tomato sauce
2 dessertspoons tomato relish

Add the beef and onions to the slow cooker.
Sprinkle over each of the dry ingredients and stir to evenly distribute.
Combine the wet ingredients in a small jug and stir, add to slow cooker.
Stir to combine, cover and cook on low for 12 hours.

This is one of my favourite slow cooker curry recipes. Enjoy!
